Buried, an original piece of puppet theatre by Colette Searls, was introduced at UMBC, and went on to win the regional championship in the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.

Peter Wood served as light board operator, master electrician, and assistant to lighting designer Damon Meledones. After the UMBC premiere, the production went on the road to Muhlenberg College in Allentown Pennsylvania, and after winning at the regional level, was honored at the Kennedy Center with several performances as part of the nation-wide KCACT festival.
