Ubu and Ubu in America, by Jeff Goode, take audiences on a ridiculous romp through Saturday morning cartoons, politics, and satire. UMBC's production featured a scenic design by Peter Wood, with two very different looks for each act.

Act one was a puppet show world, complete with a guilded frame, footlights, and red curtained backdrop. At the finale of act one, the set unfolded into a large mutli-level playing surface, and act two focused on technology and sparseness.

A giant working television screen upstage completed the futuristic look in act two.
